Sheldon, Advisor at Ministry of Defence UAE, has been involved in space all his working life, and as an ex-pat, gave a fascinating overview of the British challenges and opportunities as the Government moves closer to publishing its Space Strategy. He provided an interesting point of view on the cultural factors that can contribute to an expansive and effective strategy for Space. John also touched on the National Cyber Force and its growing importance as Britain continues to face international threats. It was fascinating to hear the perspective of ‘an outsider looking in’, especially considering how far the UK space sector has come in recent years.
