Gemma Wilson is a highly driven business professional working for almost a decade in the in the Space Sector. Her current role is the Harwell Space Cluster Manager, where she connects organisations on the campus with new opportunities to support business growth, including access to the world leading national test and evaluations facilities that are part of the Science and Technology Facilities Council. Harwell is seen as the Gateway to the UK Space Sector and Gemma’s role involves advocating the capabilities, facilities and expertise across the whole of the UK space sector to Government and international delegations.
Her previous role was Regional Growth Manager at the Satellite Applications Catapult, where she manged the regional programme including the Catapult's Centres of Excellence. She has strong experience with SME's having also worked at a start-up and has managed the European Space Agency's Business Incubation Centre supporting new and innovative companies with their journey in the space sector.
