Nick spent 37 years with Shell and has extensive experience of managing both complex global portfolios as well as multi-billion pound projects in senior leadership/Project Director roles. He spent the last 6 years of his Shell career as their Chief Project Engineer, accountable for how projects were delivered and as global discipline head.

After retiring from Shell, he took the role of CEO for the Infrastructure & Projects Authority in Central Government - The IPA was the centre of excellence for project management and assurance for the Governments most major and complex projects covering infrastructure, IT, Transformation and defence. After 5 years in that role Nick decided to change and pursue a new challenge in supporting the unique and exciting opportunity to help GBE-N grow and develop the SMR opportunities to commercial production. Nick is a chartered Mechanical Engineer, a Chartered Project professional, a fellow of the institution of Civil Engineers and a Fellow of the Royal Academy of Engineering.
