There are a number of strategic partnerships being developed to help drive long term regeneration and economic transformation behind government-led investment (defence and energy). Initiatives like Team Barrow and Team Plymouth are leading the way, bringing together leaders from government, local councils, business and academia.

They are focused on overcoming local inequalities and fostering growth – with a remit that spans housing, education, town centre development, health and skills. In this panel, key leaders from these areas will highlight the plans being developed, the progress being made and the opportunities to engage in helping deliver real change at a place-based level
