The recently published Water White Paper 'A new Vision for Water' is recognised as a once-in-a generation plan and has been welcomed as a necessary step towards reform.  In this roundtable session with David Hill, selected institutional investors and representatives from regulators, the panelists will give an overview of the key principles and invite comment from attendees on the following questions to gain industry feedback and thinking on the next steps.   Attendees are invited to prepare their thoughts and experience on these questions to feed into the debate

• How to ensure a sustainable long-term financial footing for the water industry - what do investors need to see?

• How do we scale up the investment pipeline for water infrastructure, and delivery confidence in major projects?

• What is the impact of the regulatory changes that the white paper will bring?

• How can we best strengthen the customer voice in a reformed system?

• How can we achieve better environmental outcomes? What contribution can stronger regional planning make?

• How do we strengthen the resilience of the water system both to secure long-term supplies, and to mitigate external threats?
