Chris Skidmore MP was asked to outline what his priorities for the year would be if he was still Science Minister, with an emphasis on Space. He stated the need for a centralised organisation to implement the Industrial Strategy and maximise the value of every pound spent. He was also keen to see the remit for the Space Agency and Space as a main part of the narrative for COP26. He was disappointed to see that there was little detail on Space in the Integrated Review, despite it having been mentioned 112 times, given the need to develop a Strategic Advantage for the UK.
