We firmly believe in the primacy of personal contact in creating winning relationships. This has always been at the core of The D Group’s ethos.  While digital connectivity and carefully curated data is central to our service, we believe that the importance and power of personal contact has become increasingly overlooked to the point that it should be defended as a ‘value’.

Our values define our conduct with our members and across the full D Group team. They are deeply embedded in our history.

    We firmly believe in the primacy of personal contact in creating winning relationships. This has always been at the core of The D Group’s ethos. While digital connectivity and carefully curated data is central to our service, we believe that the importance and power of personal contact has become increasingly overlooked to the point that it should be defended as a ‘value’.
     
  • Collaboration
    We are first and foremost a network. Networks multiply their reach many times over if their members collaborate. Wherever possible we assist each other. We ask our members to act as part of a mutually supportive collection of outstanding businesses and institutions, whether in helping to understand trends, markets, and opportunities or to address key organisational challenges.
     
  • Discretion
    The D Group is a trusted place for its members and visitors to discuss issues because it is discreet. This is whether holding our briefings under the Chatham House Rule, or in the complete confidence of our members and their top executives that what they share with us stays with us.
     
  • Neutrality
    We do not take sides. We do not lobby. We are here to bring organisations and people together so they can obtain the best quality information about matters of importance to them. We are, in particular, completely non-aligned politically.
