Suzanne Raine, Affiliate Lecturer at Centre for Geopolitics and a visiting Professor at King's College London comes with a wealth of experience in managing risk and gave us a master class on how you should put together a National Risk Register. She talked us through risks that are Malicious, Non-Malicious, Uncontrollable and Existential Risks such as Climate Change. These existential risks cannot be managed through a Risk register but need a separate plan. She discussed the Integrated Review which is a framework of aspirations but will now require a plan and owner to drive execution.
